I
pie'd and ale'd yesterday with my folks and sis (their
first time) and grand food was had by all, Steak and
stilton was the pie of choice. I believe my olds may
have even mentioned becoming regular patrons. Good
work peeps and lovely grub. |

Just
used the new online reserveation thing on the site
to book a table for me and my folks for my Birthday
lunch. Very easy to use and they were back to me with
in 10 mins with confirmation. Very impressed and now
very looking forward to pie and ale sunday. Crackin
work folks. |

At
great personal sacrifice I have just taken it upon
myself to undertake some research regarding the Chicken
Balti Pie and can confirm that it is very nice. It's
fairly spicy, but you would have to be a serious wimp
to be overwhelmed by it. |

Mr
Jade clothing and I had a post work meal at the PandA
on saturday and Mr JC proclaimed the urban chilli pie
most delicious and his second favourite flavour. I
wasnt very hungry so had another delicious platter
- this time half and half and the guest cheese was
most delicious. This was our fourth visit to the PandA
this week!! |

Had a fabulous time at the Pie And Ale House last
night. Derek, Dave and Stevie Tamms (and not forgetting
Jo) were excellent entertainment. The food was terrific
too. What a smashing evening. I can see this becoming
a regular visit.
Thanks again...

Visted
the pie and ale as a late birthday and fathers day
treat > by my family and friends. Had the Moo
Blue Pie, real mans food, went down well with several
pints of the English pale ale. Just like to thank my
family, friends and the staff for a most wonderful afternoon.
we will be back |

Sampled
the delights of a "Minny Moo"Pie
for my lunch today. What a fab idea for a those of us
with a more discerning diet conscious nature! Half the
portion=Half the guilt! Packed with flavour, good pastry.
Minted peas were a lovely bonus, rounding off a truly
value for money, excellent quality meal. All washed down
with a perfectly chilled carafe of Zinfandel...lovely.
Service was impeccable by friendly, professional, knowledgeable
staff. Relaxing atmosphere, classy surroundings, 5* Ladies'
loos! I will return. |

We were told by a friend to visit the pie
and ale house and decided to make a trip to Stafford
and have a visit last week. All i have to say is, where
can i buy some of your heavenly pies for home?!?! They
were delicious! |

Hi, had a great meal today - the Fabio pie is excellent!
My 3 year old had the chicken goujons and mash and really
enjoyed it. Lovely staff - very helpful and attentive.
Got a suggestion though - how about a nice piece of bread
and butter with the pie and mash to mop the gravy up?
I hate leaving gravy that tastes that good! See you soon! |

Found
'The Pie and Ale House' by chance when we stayed in
Stafford. An excellent selection of Real Ale and possibly
the best Pie and Mash I have ever tasted. The girlfriend
had the cured meats which were also fantastic. Carrot
Cake and Hot Chocolate for afters were again, 10 out
of 10. If anyone is in Stafford and wants a perfect meal
and good > ale this place is a must! |

Well what can I say!! I had a fabulous 80s 40th Birthday
party at the Pie and Ale House. The duck, beef and roasted
butternut squash was fantastic and plenty for all 70+
guests - they all commented on how great the food was
so I'm sure you'll see many of our friends popping in
to see you again. The staff could not have been more
helpful and friendly, both
with the initial booking, setting up on the day and the evening itself,
and were particularly patient when putting up with drunken, middle aged
Don Johnson lookalikes!! Thank you so much, for making my 40th party a
one never to be forgotten. Lou xxx
P.S. Stu says 'get some more Top Totty in'! |

Really enjoyed our pie and ale in December with neighbours.
Children friendly and nice decor, would benefit from more subtle lighting
for the evening. The food was great, tasty and good value not sure about
the tin plates!
We'll be back very soon... |

Visited with my husband and we agree it possibly the
best cup of coffee we've ever tasted, I had latte and
he had it plain. Just loved the Sticky Toffee Roulade
too - indulgent! |

We
visited The Pie & Ale House for the first time
on Sunday afternoon.
Well, we tried to a Sunday in late November, but it was
only open for friends & family
(if I recall correctly) - we spoke to a charming lady outside. What a FABULOUS place... FANTASTIC customer
service: Kirsty was very attentive and Mark, who I used to see on my daily
shop in Somerfield, Stone (where we live) was as friendly as ever.
SCRUMMY food: my husband had the porky pie and me
the chocolate tiffin!!
We both think the concept is great and what Stafford really needs. . .
See You Again Soon! |

food, the staff and the place itself. We were all made
to feel very welcome and really well looked after. You
will definitely have some new customers!!! Just looking
forward tho the photos now. Thanks so much again. We
all had a fabulous evening....
See you soon, Sue...xx |

Came for tea and cake this week and thoroughly enjoyed
ourselves... the tea was fantastic and even more fantastic
was the Sticky Toffee roulade which we had been reccommended
by friends... The pies smelt yummy and the cured meat
platter also looked very appetising indeed... Very nice
relaxed environment with friendly helpful staff... thanks
again... |

Have visited twice now for coffee and cake and both
times the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The
coffee was great and the cakes amazing.....I recommend
EVERYONE try the sticky toffee roulade. Can't wait to
try the pies they look amazing. Thankyou for a wonderful
and relaxed time. |

Really nice atmosphere with scrummy yet reasonably
priced food - something Stafford has lacked for a long
time. Highly recommend the sticky toffee roulade and
hot choc 'on a stick' for afters! |

or even better quality on your own doorstep, the staff
are wonderful and can agree, its been a long time coming
for stafford to have a quality and reasonably priced
eatery

for one and all to give this place the once over the next time you pass, that

Lovely food, great atmosphere and fab service. I will
be recommending the Pie and Ale House to everyone! |

We happened upon The Pie and Ale House this afternoon
as we were looking for somewhere to lunch. What we found
was a lovely place with comfy chairs, friendly staff
and amazing fayre. I had lamb and my mother had Steak
and Ale and it was simply gorgeous! And the mash and
peas, YUM! I was too full to partake of a dessert but
my mum said that the chocolate and peach confection she
had was sublime. Excellent value for money, we intend
to visit again next time we are in Stafford and a note
is on its way to the local paper too to say how much
we enjoyed ourselves. Well Done and Good Luck in your
new venture. |
